PO 1: Engineering Knowledge: pply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO 2: Problem Analysis:dentify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) is the youngest branch of Navkis College Engineering, Hassan. Established in the year 2022 with an intake of 30 and enhanced to an intake of 60 in the year 2023 offering Bachelor of Engineering, a 4-year undergraduate degree programme.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technique for building systems with the capability of human thinking. Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of AI that uses information provided to machines for building trained models to solve the problems in intelligent ways. The required information is derived from data using probability theory and linear algebra. The development of intelligent machines encompasses the study of human decision-making. This study is based on mathematical models with known, as well as unclear data which involves probabilistic reasoning and also common-sense reasoning. Such studies are the resolute points of learning in the branch of artificial intelligence.
