Training and Placement
The Training and Placement Department at NCEH plays a pivotal role in enhancing student employability and career progression by bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. We are committed to providing systematic training, career guidance, and placement support to enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required in the dynamic global workforce.
We focus on the holistic development of students through structured training programs in technical skills, aptitude, communication, and soft skills, along with exposure to industry practices through internships, industrial training, and interaction with industry professionals. It actively collaborates with reputed organizations, industries, and institutions to facilitate internships, campus placements, and career opportunities.
Aligned with current industry requirements and student expectations, the Training and Placement Department ensures inclusive participation, equal opportunity, and continuous monitoring of student outcomes. By fostering industry–academia interaction, promoting professional ethics, and supporting lifelong learning, the department contributes significantly to the institution’s mission of producing competent, responsible, and employable engineering graduates.

Objectives:
Student Support
- To organize training programs on aptitude, technical skills, soft skills, and communication to enhance student employability.
- To provide career counseling, mentoring, and guidance for placements, higher studies, and competitive exams.
- To ensure access to training and placement support for all students, including economically and socially disadvantaged groups.
Student Progression
- To facilitate placements, internships, apprenticeships, and industrial training through industry collaboration.
- To encourage and guide students toward higher education, professional certifications, and entrepreneurship.
- To track student progression in terms of placement, higher studies, and self-employment.
Student Participation & Outcomes
- To conduct mock interviews, group discussions, resume-building, and career readiness programs.
- To maintain systematic data on placements, progression, and student achievements for quality assurance.
- To continuously improve training strategies based on feedback, placement statistics, and progression metrics.
