Dr. Vinutha M. R. is Professor & Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. She has over 22 years of teaching and professional experience. She obtained her Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, with specialization in Healthcare Data Analytics (Liver Disease Detection).
She has published 12+ research papers in reputed journals and conferences. She holds one Australian patent and one Design Patent. She has served as Reviewer and Session Chair at national and international conferences and actively participates in FDPs and certification programs from IIT, IUCEE, and industry.
She has held several leadership roles including Board of Examiners Member (BOE-VTU, CSE/ISE AY:2025-26) , NAAC & NBA Coordinator, Convener – Institution Innovation Cell (IIC), and Convener – Women Cell. She is actively involved in community outreach and mentors government school students on emerging technologies and exam preparedness.
